{"id":1039,"date":"2017-03-10T11:48:37","date_gmt":"2017-03-10T09:48:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alzheimer.noemi.lu\/?p=1039"},"modified":"2017-03-10T11:48:37","modified_gmt":"2017-03-10T09:48:37","slug":"epad-project-launches-introduction-video-on-its-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ep-ad.org\/index.php\/2017\/03\/10\/epad-project-launches-introduction-video-on-its-website\/","title":{"rendered":"EPAD project launches introduction video on its website"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On 10 March, the European Prevention of Alzheimer\u2019s Dementia (EPAD) project launched its first video \u2013 an introduction to the project.<br \/>\nThe three and a half minute animated video is available on the EPAD website homepage: https:\/\/alzheimer.noemi.lu\/<br \/>\nEPAD is a collaborative research effort to improve the chance of successfully preventing Alzheimer\u2019s dementia and to better understand early aspects of Alzheimer\u2019s disease before dementia develops. The goal of the initiative is the prevention of dementia in people with evidence of the disease (such as biomarker abnormalities), who still may have little or no complaints or clinical symptoms.<br \/>\nThe EPAD project has received support from the Innovative Medicines Initiative Joint Undertaking under grant agreement n\u00b0 115736, resources of which are composed of financial contribution from the European Union&#8217;s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7\/2007-2013) and EFPIA companies\u2019 in kind contribution.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"dt-single-image\" href=\"https:\/\/ep-ad.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMI-EU-EFPIA-1.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1041\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1041\" src=\"https:\/\/alzheimer.noemi.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMI-EU-EFPIA-300x42.png\" alt=\"IMI EU EFPIA\" width=\"300\" height=\"42\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; On 10 March, the European Prevention of Alzheimer\u2019s Dementia (EPAD) project launched its first video \u2013 an introduction to the project.
