{"id":2712,"date":"2018-12-04T10:20:43","date_gmt":"2018-12-04T08:20:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alzheimer.noemi.lu\/?p=2712"},"modified":"2018-12-04T10:20:43","modified_gmt":"2018-12-04T08:20:43","slug":"aridhia-announces-its-partnership-with-microsoft-azure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ep-ad.org\/index.php\/2018\/12\/04\/aridhia-announces-its-partnership-with-microsoft-azure\/","title":{"rendered":"Aridhia announces its partnership with Microsoft Azure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 4 December, our partner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aridhia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aridhia<\/a> announced that its digital research platform <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aridhia.com\/product\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AnalytiXagility<\/a> used in the health, biomedical research and precision medicine sectors, is to move all its work to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-gb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Azure,\u00a0<\/a>including treatment studies by the European Prevention of Alzheimer\u2019s Dementia Consortium (EPAD).<\/p>\n<p>Aridhia will use Microsoft\u2019s service to offer medical experts, such as those at EPAD, a secure, efficient and safe way of sharing data to improve patient outcomes, accelerate clinical research and contribute to the development of new drugs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have created a safe space for researchers to work with highly privileged data associated with patients across all types of conditions,\u201d said David Sibbald, Chief Executive of Aridhia. \u201cIt allows research groups to work and collaborate with other medical centres across the world, as well as bring in bio-pharmaceutical companies, in a secure environment.<\/p>\n<p>Aridhia is planning to give some customers early access to their Digital Research Platform running on Azure in January.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the joint release between Aridhia and Microsoft <a href=\"https:\/\/news.microsoft.com\/en-gb\/2018\/12\/04\/scottish-research-company-aridhia-is-moving-to-azure-which-could-be-a-huge-boost-for-alzheimers-research\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Want to find our more?
